I'm starting a list of the end-of-year writing roundups/reviews that everyone is doing. That way I can go through them at my leisure and read the brilliant new stuff you guys have written that I may have missed.

I can't concentrate on anything right now.

stories I want to read as soon as I can find my brain again... )
Have you written or read fic recently that I should read? Tell me in comments.

The Threesome Fic Exchange, I Saw Three Ships ([livejournal.com profile] 3_ships), is open for sign-up until Nov 15. I LOVE reading the results of this every year, but have no faith in my ability to write threesomes to specifications. BUT you should all do it!

REC (Writing Meta):
How to Write Long-Form Stories, in which [livejournal.com profile] cupidsbow talks about "turning a scene", developing theme, and rewriting. You should all go read this - it's fantastic. Plus, now with more examples of turning a scene. I read this a few weeks ago and it's been my new standard to which I'm aspiring.
