My kitty is 18 (!) almost 19 now. She has diabetes and she wanders about looking cranky and coughing a little now and then. But she's still my adorable baby. I just gave her a bath today, and she looks so much better. She actually seems to enjoy it a little, getting nice and clean.
Keen Eddie was a very fun show that was on A&E a few years ago, about a New York cop who ends up doing some work with the Met in London and ends up staying on. It has Mark Valley as Eddie, the adorable Julian Rhind-Tutt as his partner Monty, and Sienna Miller as Eddie's spoiled upper class housemate. It's very tongue in cheek and rather fun.
The draw of Primeval for me is Douglas Henshall, who plays Professor Nick Cutter, the head of the team. There are some other excellent actors in there, including Ben Miller and Juliet Aubrey, but it's mostly Dougie Henshall for me. I've liked him for years, ever since I saw him as Anna Karenina's brother in the 1998 BBC version of Anna Karenina. So I was thrilled to see him show up in a primetime BBC drama. The dinosaurs and monsters are a little creepy, but the rest of the team is very interesting and there's a lot of good banter and stuff.
I do need to see Merlin, then, how can one go wrong with Anthony Stewart Head!!? I still loved his creepy alien villain in the school episode of Doctor Who. You do need to catch up on DW. There were some really good episodes last season. The Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead were excellent.
