The other night I had a dream that was kind of like a mixture of Stargate Atlantis, Interview with a Vampire, and Neverwhere (or Stardust). I wrote this in a half-awake state:
It was like a fairy tale kind of based off the (an) episode. John was this untested young man living with his family at the beginning. First (prologue) he went to put the cat in the other room. Then somehow it escaped through a hole in the basement cceiling and something took it so he had to go after it. It was kind of like Neverwhere a bit (and I was hinking about Anansi Boys in my dream.) Then this woman showed up in a carriage and I thnk she might have been the one who takes them to the fair. Only she only takes the craftsmen, the vampires. John has a soul weapon (he gets it latr or figures out hw to open it) that looks like a giant umbrella only he doesn't open it - he presses a button on it and it extends and gets really long but it oesn't open up like an umbrella. It's a dark grey/brown sludgy color. John goes on a journey can't remember all o it. Eventually he gets to the fair with the vampires (he's a vampire too. I think) and there's all this furniture. Hey're afraid no one is going to come and see their performance/magic. And then there's this trolley driven by a woman (same as first on?) and there's only one old guy on oit and it's supposed to be for vampires only they've all gotten there by other means except the one guy. THey know each other really well, a long time and she threatens to kill him but he laughs it off. She's dangerous. He's an old guy. And she says no on is there and he says oh, maybe they're not going to worship you anymore which she doesn't like. And then they start to see mor people, people walking to the place and light and they keep going and find everyone and she is miffed. But relieved that they're there. It's kind of lik they wnet on strike. And then John's family shows up> And they have three female sheep which are John's and one of them gets pregnant and has a baby sheep and they talk about buying the male one so they won't be separated. And they all had dressed up before to pratice and John had huge feathery white wings and a cloak, plus the sword and then they put everything on the loveseat across the room. And then people showeed up and they put on the costumes again. John's family was amazed, they're supposed to look like Angels of different kinds. they didn't think he had it in him, ddnt expect hm to be a vampire. And thn the woman shows up and she's the one who calls the meeting, she's the original or something, and she sits on the loveseat/ But she's invisible .And at the end John calls up to her from the river where he's swimming and asks if she wants to join him because she looks like she could use some fun and she appaers visible for a second, she' wearing red kimono type thing and she swoops down on him. His family are like "thank god they're invislble" so we don't have to see this.
Something abbout gold. finding gold? ad campaign? a planet they were on and are judging? There was a machine that was supposed to be really impressivea and john looked at it anfd said this iswhy you brought mr here? for this? u i tjimnk maybe it made gold or something.
