Welcome back, the only three contemporary Arthurian things I can think of would be: TH Whites "Once and Future King", Marion Zimmer Bradley's phenomenal "Mists of Avalon" (the Arthurian legend told from Morgan le Fay and the other women's POV) and DC Comics graphic novel "Camelot 3000" - a sci-fi retelling of the return of Arthur in the far future with reincarnation, gender-swap that works and aliens. No, really, aliens and realistic gender-swap.
