Okay, so if I turn off my brain, this works. A sweet story about three guys, some alcohol, some scorching hot sex and cross dressing. I liked seeing Peter's bafflement at Hiro and Nathan together, but not because of homophobia. I loved that Peter thought Hiro was beautiful in his dress and I loved the hickeys all over Nathan's neck. So many little touches made this wonderful. Yay!
But, turning my brain back on, the Nathan/Hiro thing doesn't work so well for me. Hiro's cute and cuddly, kinda round and sweet. Nathan is hard-edged and sophisticated and controlling. Caring, yes, but in a very "I know what's good for you" manner. And while opposites do attract, I just have a hard time imaging it. It would be a little easier if it were future-Hiro, but then you'd lose the sweetness. Of course, none of this detracts from the yumminess of the story. Just my $0.02. *g*
