My reading lately has been sparse, but I very much enjoyed these:

Limits by miera_c
(Sheppard/Lorne, second time, back on Earth, porny)

Reconnaisance by franticsga
(McKay/Sheppard gen, post-4x02 Lifeline)

Command Structure by Kat Reitz and Tzigane
(McKay/Sheppard, long and porny, bdsm, "when they were young")

Students of Hope (though I have it bookmarked as "Separated for years..." - oops) by scrunchy
(McKay/Sheppard gen, angsty, back on Earth, includes Carson, Elizabeth, Lorne, and Zelenka.)

Does anyone have any good angst stories or recs? My absolute favorite SGA angst is Charting the Motions of the Planets by Dasha. I'm sure there's many others I've enjoyed but my memory is a little foggy. And I forget to mark things as "angst" when I bookmark them. (I ask because I am trying to write something angsty. In this endeavor, penknife's essay On Writing Angst has been helpful. Another resource I've been using a lot lately is How to Construct Alternate Universes that Work as Fanfic by Rat Creature, which I consult whenever betaing crossovers.)

1. Lame. :-P
2. My interview went pretty well. I think I've got the internship! I could have sounded more like I know what I'm doing, but apparently it's okay.
3. Sorry?
4. I'm not watching American tv. I'm watching the BBC right now and they're talking about pidgeon racing. Apparently it's not legally a sport. However, skipping rope, model airplane flying, and "rambling" are. Oh, Brits.
5. Yay!

1. Look in my memories. I have my sga stories anal-retentively organized ok?
2. YAY! CALIFORNIA LOVE! It's in SB right?
3. I was just hungry. I fixed that.
4. Are you watching top gear? Do I have to hurt you?
5. YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!

1. Oh, memories. I never think of those cuz tags are so much better.
2. Yup. :-)
4. Top Gear is awesome. They raced a car against a CANOE! And used the Pirates of the Carribean music for it. And now they're stuck in a traffic jam.

1. well. Pick one. Either you get no reccs right now or you go deal with memories. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES. EVEN IF THEY WEREN'T SO GREY. E TASTES LIKE JEWS BUT SVEEETAAAH!!!

2. YAY! Visits and cuddles. And bf? Are you going to abandon him? Doesn't he have feelings?

3. There is no step three.

1. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES. I will deal. I was just saying that's why I didn't think to look there. ;-)
2. He says he's okay with it - and he'll come visit or I'll go there. It's going to suck though, in that regard. No cat and no boy. *sad*
3. CHEETOS!
4. I'm not that into cars. But things that go fast are cool. And it's PRETTY. It looks like car commercials only it's explicitly entertainment so I don't have to feel guilty for liking it (I know that makes no sense.) It makes me want to start a science show where it looks all pretty and like a music video and stuff.
