Lalala. I'm up early this morning. This is especially impressive because the boy is visiting and he ALWAYS wakes up much earlier than me. (It's so annoying!) It's strange too, because I was thinking last night that I hoped I could wake up early so I could check livejournal. (Obsessed, who, me?)

Last night we made pasta with artichoke hearts and watched Trinity and Instinct. I'm trying to catch him up so we can watch the new eps together (the whole living in different states thing makes this somewhat challenging.) He asked me what Trinity was about beforehand and I was like, well it's kind of the cornerstone of the McKay/Sheppard relationship. (He's well-versed in the slash, though I think left to his own devices he might ship Teyla/John. Or just Teyla/Teyla ;-) And then I said, wait, "cornerstone" sort of implies stability, right? Okay, maybe less cornerstone and more... large hole in the wall. Of course, then he was all WHAT? What's going to happen? I'm horrible with the almost-spoilery hints of doom...

I finally watched No Man's Land on Monday (jeez, how'd the week go by so quick?) so I'm a little late with the requisite "OMG SQUEE" post. Not a whole lot to say that hasn't been said, but basically (1) go Elizabeth with the kicking ass and taking names... and making yourself completely shippable with either CaldwellStephen or Teyla. I love the exchange with Radek too, it totally took me back to their first real conversation in 38 Minutes. (2) Much love for Michael. Much, much love. I hope he sticks around. It's almost painful how much he doesn't fit in with either the Wraith or the humans. (3) I really want to know where that knife was on Ronon. It looked like he was groping around at groin level when they were in the cocoons... (4) I was a bit put-off by Rodney's whininess at first but I loved the split-second transition to "Well, now there is hope." Ah, I should have known better. (5) Wow, the Daedalus bridge crew are such hotties. Do any of them have names? (6) Sheppard! Every *single* moment in the F-302, talking to himself. And with Michael. And talking to Caldwell on the Daedalus with the woobie face. Oh, John. (7) Lorne in the command chair on Orion. He's such a Sheppard fanboy. Dude, he even puts his HANDS ON HIS HIPS at one point! (Maybe not in this ep, since I can't seem to find it again. But he does do it!) (8) Rewatching now... and yeah, Ronon touches Rodney a lot. On the hiveship AND on the Daedalus. Question is, is he shepherding Rodney or using him as a security blanket? Sticking with the genius, always a good idea. :-) (9) Rodney being all competent (or at least looking competent) with a gun. Did he shoot the Wraith queen too or just aim at her? I couldn't tell. (10) Yay, Atlantis is back! What more do you need, really? (Though... more Teyla next time, please?)
