From here: Basic Account is an option available to accounts which were created before March 12, 2008. No account created after this date can be turned into a Basic Account.

But do they mention it in the latest news post? Naah. That'd be sily.

Hiiiiiii! I'm drunk off of one margarita. I love being a lightweight. :-) My cousins are visiting and we went out for Mexican food and got a 64 oz pitcher of margarita... margaritas? I dunno. It was yummy. I'm sleepy. Maybe I'll try to write and see if it's really silly.

One of my coworkers got me started watching this TV show "Greek" on ABC. It's mostly about fraternity/sorority kids. I don't give a shit about that crap but it's fairly funny. The protagonist is a geek-turned-fratboy. Then there's the black friend (of course) who turns out to be gay and is extremely easy on the eyes and the geeky Christian roommate who is adorable. IT'S SO DAMN SLASHY. YAY! You can watch it online! Just one season so far but it got picked up for a second.
ETA: I'm less entralled with this show by the minute. Eeh. TV sucks.
