How to Write Long-Form Stories, in which cupidsbow talks about "turning a scene", developing theme, and rewriting. You should all go read this - it's fantastic. Plus, now with more examples of turning a scene. I read this a few weeks ago and it's been my new standard to which I'm aspiring.

I really don't get Parrish/Lorne. What's the attraction? Isn't it just like watered-down McKay/Sheppard? *shields head* Oh, and I'm sad to say I didn't realize you had a fic-posting comm. I guess I'll go read your LONG Parrish/Lorne story now. Pun very much intended.

By the way, you know there's a whole COMM for parrish/lorne? What is wrong with you?
