For Yuletide, I wrote a story for House of Wax (2005 movie):

People Who Live in Wax Houses (Nick/Wade, 5800 words.) I'm quite pleased with it. My recipient has a preference for angst which I had hardly ever written before. I struggled with the structure quite a bit and threw out over 3000 words (longer than most of my stories!) and Truth beautifully fielded my panic-stricken emails the last few days before the deadline... It was SO MUCH FUN!

and I did a modest two treats...

A Way Can Be Found (Dogsbody by Diana Wynne-Jones, 2400 words)

Easy (Burn Notice, Fiona/Jason, 200 words)

Other than that, I didn't write all that much this year... but more than I've ever written before. [livejournal.com profile] wrisomifu and [livejournal.com profile] rounds_of_kink get most of the blame!

Wow, so many fandoms...I really like these end-of-year writing meme's 'cause I really can use them like a checklist, which I did. *g*

Great job on all the stories, kaizoku. Hopefully the coming year with be as fruitful in terms of creative output...for all of us.

Whee!!! *floats on happy feedback bubble* Thank you!

Hehe, I didn't mean to write in so many. A lot of them were sort of exploring-in-new-fandom stories. I would like to focus a little more... though I'm thinking of joining [livejournal.com profile] 100fandoms where you try to write stories in 100 different fandoms. Or I might join [livejournal.com profile] 12in2008 like you! I'm worried about fandom distracting me from work and vice versa this year (it's my last year of college.) But maybe if I'm just super-productive in both?

Is that your kitten? So cute!

You just have to keep in mind that school is your full time job and writing fanfic is your hobby. I think the [livejournal.com profile] 100fandoms is a wildly insane idea - I don't watch enough tv to be able to come anywhere close. [livejournal.com profile] 12in2008 is definitely more my speed...*g* But being super-productive in both would be good, too. Good luck on that!

And yes, that is my silly kitten. Thank God he's so cute 'cause otherwise I would have strangled his furry little neck long before now... =^..^=

Hi! I just read People Who Live in Wax Houses and I really enjoyed it. You gave great back story to the movie and made fantastic use of the dialogue too. I really enjoyed this. Thank you!
